You can track 4 major transaction-related activities on your account dashboard. They include:
- Transaction history
- Account statement
- Query transaction
- Withdrawal records
These functions help you to obtain the details of all transactions paid to your account, track each transaction based on date, purpose, payee and other search queries.
TRANSACTION HISTORY.
Transaction history gives you a breakdown of each transaction that you received. You have the details of each transaction based on transaction ID (which both you and the buyer can use to track the transaction), customer’s email, amount paid and most importantly, the status of the transaction.
Typically, transaction can be classified as: (1) approved (2) cancelled (3) pending. The status of the transaction enables you to respond adequately In case of a dispute or complaint from your customer regarding the transaction. (More info on dispute resolution here).
In case you want to check a particular transaction, you can use parameters like customers’ purchase email or transaction ID to query the status of the transaction.
ACCOUNT STATEMENT.
Your account statement is a summary of all activities in your account. It enables you to display all transactions based on date. You can also export your account statement in HTML or csv format.
QUERY TRANSACTION
This is an option to query the status of your transaction; this is useful in a case where your customer claimed that he/she has paid for your product or service. Request for the transaction ID from the merchant and use it to query the status of the transaction.
Below are the statuses of transactions on VoguePay and recommended action for each:
- Decline: Transaction is declined at gateway. This means that money was not deposited due to card related issues.
Advise your client to go to their local bank to process reversal.
- Pending/Awaiting confirmation. A transaction awaiting confirmation has been approved at the gateway but has not reached VoguePay platform.
Report the status of this transaction to us to regularise it on your behalf.
- Approved: This transaction is successful and credited to you account.
Proceed to deliver value for what your client paid for.
WITHDRAWAL RECORDS
If you have made any withdrawals from your VoguePay wallet to your bank account, these records are available here.
I made a withdrawal of N23,000 from my VoguePay account, kko, on 19th March, 2018 and it was declined. The transaction id is 5aafcaeeb4d18. I tried consummating the transaction again and it gave me an error message OL86.
Please look into it and resolve.
